What is Meter Challenge?
The Meter Challenge is an exciting competition where your speed, precision, and knowledge of meter assembly is tested.
Individual contestants will race against the clock to piece together a specified water meter from a bucket of parts.
State winners will be awarded with a trip to AWWA’s Annual Conference and Expo (ACE25) in Denver, CO to compete at the national level.

Who can compete?
Anyone with a current AWWA membership can register. This is a test of individual skill so there are no teams. Individuals will be competing in groups of four (4) to six (6) per round and there will be no distinction of gender for the competition.

When and where is the competition?
The competition will take place April 15-16, 2025 at the GAWP Spring Conference in Columbus, GA.
